Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. What Promo Radar is

Promo Radar is a free service that (a) analyzes Amazon product prices against their recent 90-day history to help you decide whether a price is favorable, and (b) optionally sends email alerts when a product you are tracking meets a condition you set (price target, discount threshold, back in stock, etc.). All of this is for informational purposes. Nothing we publish is financial or investment advice.

2. Your account

Creating an account is optional and free. The only information we need is an email address — we use magic-link sign-in, so there is no password. You can delete your account any time from your account page; deletion removes your email and watchlist within 30 days. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service (for example: attempting to flood Resend with unsubscribe requests, scraping our APIs, or creating multiple accounts to bypass per-user limits).

3. Alerts

Alerts are best-effort. We evaluate rules once a day and deliver email through a third-party provider (Resend). We do not guarantee that every price drop or stock change will produce an alert, nor that alerts will arrive within a specific time window. Fast-moving events like Amazon lightning deals may end before an alert fires. We cap email delivery at 20 alerts per user per day to protect sender reputation — extra triggers beyond that are skipped silently. You can pause or cancel alerts at any time from your account page.

4. Pricing data

Our price analysis uses data from a third-party Amazon pricing data provider. That data can lag Amazon's real-time prices by up to 24 hours and may occasionally be inaccurate. Promo Radar does not guarantee that the price shown on our site or in an alert email is the price you will actually see at Amazon at checkout. Always verify the final price on Amazon before purchasing.

5. Affiliate disclosure

Promo Radar participates in the Amazon Associates Program. When you click one of our product links to Amazon and make a purchase, Amazon may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. Our recommendations are produced by an automated analysis — commissions do not influence whether we call a price favorable or not, and they do not influence which products appear in our catalog.

6. We are not Amazon

Promo Radar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc. "Amazon" and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Product availability, pricing, and customer service questions are handled by Amazon directly, not by us.

7. Limitation of liability

We provide the service "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Promo Radar is not liable for: losses or damages arising from purchase decisions you make based on our analysis or alerts; missed discounts due to alert delivery delays or failures; data inaccuracies inherited from upstream providers (Amazon, our pricing data provider, etc.); or interruptions in service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct).

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is material — for example, a new data practice or a new limitation on our service — we will email people with active accounts before it takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Questions about these terms: contact@promoradar.co.
