Air fryers and Instant Pots: Prime Day specifically
These two categories anchor Amazon Prime Day every year. The bestseller versions of each (Ninja, Instant brand, Cosori) hit annual lows in mid-July. They never go lower at Black Friday because Prime Day already used the year's deepest cut. Don't expect a better price after July; just buy.
Coffee machines have model cycles
Breville, De'Longhi, and Nespresso refresh roughly every 18 months. When a new model is announced, the previous one drops 15-25% over the next month and stays low for a quarter before disappearing. The new model rarely justifies its price premium for 6-12 months.
